Fully open it's a long panoramic band, roughly three times as wide as it is tall — a lot of horizontal room for one flowing image, a timeline or a sequence, while the closed piece still reads as that considered, self-contained square. It suits event programmes, lookbooks, exhibition and music promos, menus — anything that wants the object feel of a square with more inside than a single fold gives.
Like any tri-fold it opens in stages, so there's a reading order — cover, first flap, full spread — and on the common roll fold the panel that tucks inside sits slightly narrower so it closes flat. The wide inside is the reason to use it, so it rewards artwork that runs across all three panels rather than treating them as three separate square-ish columns; the panorama is the point.
In the sets: closed on the cover, mid-open and laid flat from above, so you can present the square cover and the full panoramic inside together. Each is a layered PSD with smart objects — the artwork sits on its own layer, so replacing it leaves the folds, lighting and shadow untouched.
