This is the North American workhorse — the same role A4 plays everywhere else, on the page size US and Canadian print actually runs. It's the default for anything substantial and text-led: annual reports, corporate and capability brochures, product catalogues, prospectuses, sales decks and white papers, real estate and financial documents. It reads as standard and credible, which is exactly the point when the job is to look established rather than to stand out.
The full page gives you room most brochure formats don't. A portrait Letter page holds a proper text column with space to breathe, or splits into two workable columns, or carries a full-bleed image with a caption underneath — and the spread pairs a picture on one page with its story on the other. It's slightly wider and shorter than A4, so a layout built to the A-series doesn't scale across cleanly; it needs the margins and column widths refitted rather than just resized.
In the sets: closed on the cover, open on a spread and shot from above, so you can present the cover and an inside spread together. Each is a layered PSD with smart objects — the artwork sits on its own layer, so replacing it leaves the paper, lighting and shadow untouched.
