Free packaging mockups

This is the broadest category on the site, because packaging is anything a product ships in — a folding carton or rigid box, a bottle or jar, a can or tin, a cosmetic tube or pump, a candle vessel, a wine label, a digipack, a stand-up pouch. What they have in common is that the design has to wrap a three-dimensional object rather than sit on a flat page, so it lives or dies on how it meets a curve, a seam, a cap or a fold. A label that looks balanced flat can pinch as it wraps a bottle, and a carton design reads completely differently once it has faces catching the light — which is the whole reason to see it on the form before committing to print.

The material matters as much as the shape. Glass refracts and reflects, a can throws a metallic sheen, matte cartons drink the light, a glossy pouch bounces it, and each changes how colours and finishes read — so a mockup is checking the substrate as much as the artwork.
