Closed it's rack-card shaped — slim, upright and easy to hand over, small enough to sit in a brochure holder or slide into a business envelope. That's the appeal: it holds four panels of content but hands over like a card, which suits wine and cocktail lists, treatment and service menus, festival and trail guides, price lists, product ranges — anything with a run of items that would look cramped on a single card.
The panels are tall and narrow, so you're effectively laying out four cards in a row rather than one page. Text sets in short lines and stacks quickly, images want portrait crops, and the cover has to work as a standalone card since that's all anyone sees before opening it. Opened right out it's one long landscape sheet, wide enough to run a single image or a header across the whole thing if you'd rather treat it as one surface than four.
In the sets: closed, part-open and laid flat from above, so you can present the folded card and the full open sheet together. Each is a layered PSD with smart objects — the artwork sits on its own layer, so replacing it leaves the folds, lighting and shadow untouched.
