The rounded business card
A rounded business card is a standard card with die-cut corners — the usual 85 × 55 or 3.5 × 2 in shape, softened by a corner radius.

Rounding the corners is a die-cut, so it's a small production step beyond a straight guillotine cut — but it's one people feel more than see, since a rounded card has no sharp points to catch and reads as gentler and more finished the instant it's picked up. The radius sets the tone: a tight 2 mm curve looks crisp and modern, while a generous 5 mm reads soft, friendly, almost like a ticket or a tag. It's a favourite where the brand wants to feel approachable — wellness, childcare, hospitality, lifestyle and boutique retail.
The one thing to mind is the corners themselves. Because they're cut away, anything you place near them gets clipped, so keep logos, page numbers and text inside a safe margin and let the radius eat only background or colour. A full-bleed design suits it especially well, since the curve trims into the artwork cleanly rather than leaving an awkward gap. Otherwise it behaves like any card — two sides to use, and the paper and finish doing plenty of the talking up close.
In the sets: front and back, held in a hand, stacked and shot close from above, so you can present the card clean or sit it in a real scene. Each is a layered PSD with smart objects — the artwork sits on its own layer, so replacing it leaves the stock, lighting and shadow untouched.
