Free keychain mockups

A keychain is small, three-dimensional and often cut to the shape of the logo itself, which makes it as much a product-design problem as a print one. The die cut or moulded form does a lot of the work — an acrylic fob shaped to the mark, a leather tab stamped with it, a metal disc engraved — so the silhouette matters before any surface graphic does. There's barely room for more than a logo and maybe a word, and it's seen close and turned over in the hand, so the outline has to read cleanly and the mark has to survive at thumbnail size.

Material decides both the method and the feel. Acrylic takes a full-colour print and cuts to any shape, bright and cheap; metal is usually engraved or embossed for a solid, premium fob that reads by relief rather than colour; leather is stamped or foiled and ages warm; rubber is moulded for something soft and chunky. Both faces usually get used — the logo on one, a name or detail on the other. These are the classic promotional giveaway and retail add-on, so they're shown close on clean surfaces where the material and finish carry as much of the impression as the artwork.
