Free mug mockups

A mug is a curved surface with a handle, which makes it a trickier canvas than it looks. Your artwork wraps around the outside, so only part of it faces the viewer at once — the handle takes a bite out of one side, the curve bends whatever crosses it, and a design centred flat can end up half-hidden round the back. That's why the ones that work keep it simple and let the wrap breathe, and why seeing it on the actual cup, from a couple of angles, tells you what a flat artboard never can.

The style changes the brief more than you'd expect. Straight-sided ceramic gives you the cleanest wrap; a tapered latte cup curves the artwork top to bottom as well as around; enamel adds a speckled rim and edge that eats fine detail; glass shows whatever's behind it; a travel mug wraps a taller, often stepped body. Each holds a design differently, so a wrap that sits perfectly on one won't automatically suit the next. These are rendered rather than photographed, clean and close on a plain background, which keeps the focus on how the print meets the shape and drops the mug straight into a shop listing or a branding set.
